Ponderings – “Winds of Change”

What seems to happen so often (to me at least) is that whenever a change is suddenly desired- a change in health, relationships, perspective- everything feels… different. Like there’s an aura of ambition and drive, of revolution and invigoration which uplifts us and consequently the world around us. “The Winds of Change” as I like to call it (yes, I’m aware that I’m not the first to coin the phrase).

These winds are great, a welcome sign that change is in the air. But sometimes they blow a little too hard. Ok, I get it. I asked for change, now you’re giving it to me. But not at a hundred miles an hour from every different direction! Change is supposed to be a gradual process, not a sudden, raging tornado! One step at a time please.

  1. I can absolutely relate with you Jake. As they say: sometimes the best time to change is when you’re totally ran out of options. That’s when the ‘wind of change’ blows with the intent to break and tear you down for rebuilding; that you will have no choice but to employ the change you so desperately needed.
Change is good, most of the time. It signifies growth.
