Happy December 25th!

Whether celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa (though not celebrated until tomorrow), Festivus, the Winter Solstice, or just the weekend, the 25th of December is a pretty important day on everyone’s calendars. No matter your religion or lack of, the 25th has come to be one of those few days reserved for family and friends. Why so few days to celebrate those we love and care about? I’m not sure. Shouldn’t everyday be a day to give thanks and appreciate those in our lives? But I digress.

Instead, I hope you’ll make the most of the 25th. Hopefully it’s spent surrounded by family and friends, setting aside differences, treating them as the water under the bridge they truly are, and being grateful for the time we have in each other’s company. I believe that is what’s at the heart of the holidays. Be grateful for what and who you have in your life on the 25th. Then do it again on the 26th, and the 27th, and the 28th…

Happy Holidays!
